If you are a beginner and want to keep the cost down you may substitute colors
to beginner’s watercolor sets (transparent colors tubes not pans). The quality
and color are not the same do not expect the same results as with the other
colors, it is important and recommended to please use good paper Arches
sheets are preferred (22x30) pads react slightly differently, (but if that is all you
have bring it). Brushes can be expensive – so you may want to look at my
website http://www.birgitoconnor.com under (Brushes) for more information. In
every class I discuss what’s the difference is and how it affects your paintings.
Large brushes can hard to find and I do have the ones I like available in the
workshops or online http://www.birgitoconnor.com/brushes.html If you planning
on painting more than once consider the investment - I know you will love them.

Brushes: Brushes I like are available on my website or through my workshops
with a 30-35% discount. Many of the brushes I like are only sold in Europe.
(May be limited due to inventory)
http://www.birgitoconnor.com/brushes.html Pallet: I like pallets with a covered
lid and shallow wells. Available online or in my local workshops.

Problems finding a color go to http://www.birgitoconnor.com/birgitevents.html
under discontinued colors. If you have Favorite colors bring them too.

Sorry, no photos or video of demonstrations or artwork please, this can be
distracting. Occasional photos may be allowed during the workshop, group
photos will be allowed on the last day. (Art in the Mountains will take the
traditional class photo Wednesday.) Sketches and reference material that is
provided during the workshops are not to be used in competitions or for resale;
these are intended only as learning tools.
