with an introduction and lecture and each day. Cindy will conduct demonstrations on how to paint the common elements of portraiture. Various techniques such as drybrushing, glazing, graded wash, wet in wet, and using cotton swabs, will be practiced to successfully achieve painting life-like portraits. introduced following each demonstration. Later in the week this knowledge will be applied to their own portrait, which will be prepared prior to class. Throughout the workshop Cindy assists each student with their paintings by walking the room to offer individual help and instruction. Specially designed reference material will be distributed throughout the workshop.
