Workshop Location:  Mel Stabin’s workshop will take place outdoors at this dramatic beautiful island full of plunging ravines,
cascading waterfalls, unforgettable cliffs, canyons, beaches, and bays. “The Island of Discovery,” begs to be discovered. We will
gather together at the ResortQuest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa located adjacent to Coconut Plantation Marketplace on the central
east side of the island; within walking or a short drive to outdoor malls, restaurants, grocery stores, and beach parks. During the
week we will meet in the hotel lobby or on site.  Many of the beach parks have covered gazebos with picnic tables and restrooms.
The recommended resort is very nice and recently remodeled.  They have provided Art in the Mountains with an outstanding rate
of $132 for Garden Room, or $142 for Ocean View, plus tax per night.  A daily Resort Fee of US$12.00 per day plus tax per room
