| Workshop Location: Mel Stabin’s workshop will take place outdoors on this beautiful garden island. To keep our workshop fee down, Art in the Mountains has rented a condo at the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort, right on a swimming/snorkeling/surfing beach near the the historic district amid the harbor, shops, restaurants, parks, and galleries. We will have our welcome party there, and use the condo as a general studio space, when needed. During the week we will meet in the resort lobby or on site. Many of the beach parks have covered gazebos, picnic tables, trees and restrooms. The 35 condo owners we recommend provide the best deal financially compared to a hotel room and the resort directly. The condos provide a full kitchen. They cost $99 to $175 per night. Other recommended hotels are also be listed. |
