It is the perfect location for classes painting plein air. We will travel to locations to paint during the week. We also have a
studio space reserved for the week. The indoor meeting space provides plenty of natural light, tables and chairs for
students. The days should be moderate, but the evenings will cool off. Be sure to bring a warm coat as well as a lightweight
jacket or sweatshirt.

Class Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and end at 3 p.m. on Friday.  
Lunch Hour is from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. However, instructor may elect to take 1.5-hour lunch break and extend class
until 4:30 p.m.

Travel to the Hotel
Arriving by plane: Albuquerque International Airport has over 100 flights daily on airlines, including American Airlines,
Continental, Delta, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Frontier Airlines and US Airways. The
Eldorado Hotel & Spa is only 60 minutes from the Albuquerque International Airport via shuttle or car. The Sandia Shuttle
provides transfer service between the Albuquerque International Airport and Eldorado Hotel & Spa with frequent and
convenient trips throughout each day. Direct flights into Santa Fe County Municipal Airport, which is just 10 miles from
the hotel, are also available.

Driving From Albuquerque International Airport: Take I-25 north to Santa Fe, and turn off at St. Francis Exit #282. Travel
north on St. Francis 3.5 miles. Turn right on West Alameda. Turn left at Guadalupe. Turn right on West San Francisco.
Eldorado address is 309 West San Francisco Street.

Driving From Santa Fe County Municipal Airport: Head east on Aviation Dr toward Airport Rd. Take the 2nd right onto
Co Rd 56/NM-284 E. Continue to follow NM-284 E. Turn left at San Felipe Rd/State Route 22. Continue to follow State
Route 22. Turn left at S Guadalupe St. Take the 2nd right onto W San Francisco St. The Eldorado will be on the left.

Arriving by train: Amtrak arrives daily from Chicago and Los Angeles in the town of Lamy, only 20 minutes from Santa
